Radiohead Announce 12″ Remix Series

Radiohead announced via their website today that they will be releasing a series of summer remixes on 12″ vinyl. You can listen to the 1st of the 12″s, Caribou remixing Little by Little, and a remix of Lotus Flower by Jacques Greene, below:

The first in a series of remixes on 12″ vinyl will be released on Monday 4th July (or Tuesday in the US & Canada).

The series kicks off with Caribou remixing Little by Little, and a remix of Lotus Flower by Jacques Greene, both of which we we’re really excited about.

Hopefully you will find the vinyl in your local independent record shop, but if not, you can buy by mailorder here from the 4th. If you don’t have a record player, digital versions will be available here, here, here and here. Or you can just listen to them here:

More 12″ remixes will be released every couple of weeks over the summer until we run out of remixes… or summer. On the next one we’ve got Nathan Fake (Morning Mr Magpie) and remixes of Bloom by Mark Pritchard.

Radiohead announce the imminent release of their eighth studio album, “The King Of Limbs”.

Following an initial digital release on the band’s own Ticker Tape imprint, the album will be on general release from on CD & 12” vinyl in all music stores and major digital retailers from March 29th. As with In Rainbows, the band will partner with TBD Records in the USA & Canada.

“The King Of Limbs” was produced by longtime collaborator, Nigel Godrich.

Thom Yorke : Feeling Pulled Apart By Horses

This is to inform you of the release of two more bits of work shortly. They are loosely under the Thom Yorke name this time, although these days it’s all getting kind of blurry. FeelingPulledApartbyHorses is written and played by Jonny [Greenwood – guitar] and I and is a radical rework of an old tune that’s been kicking around without a home since 2001? I think. The Hollow Earth is a bass menace that was born out of the Eraser period but needed a little more time. Both were produced by Nigel Godrich as ever. And mastered by Bob Ludwig. They are being put out on 12″ with sliced sleeve by Stanley and Tchock.

My sources tell me this will be available from the 21st of September if you’re interested… On sale in the w.a.s.t.e. part of our website (with a gratis download). Or you can go buy it in a good record shop if you are lucky enough to have one near you. Then later on there will be like a normal download thing I think around the 6th of October through the usual channels.

hey everyone

ok so in April the other band.. that i got together to do the eraser and other stuff u know .. Mauro, Flea, Me, Joey and Nigel is going back out to do some shows in the US.. ending with playing with Coachella. we had too much fun to just leave it there…

it has been decided that we call ourselves Atoms For Peace. hope you like the name.. it seemed bleedin’ obvious.

Radiohead is Colin Greenwood, Jonny Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, Philip Selway and Thom Yorke.

Radiohead’s recordings have included 1993’s Pablo Honey, 1995’s The Bends, 1997’s OK Computer (the tour for which was documented by the 1998 film Meeting People Is Easy), 2000’s Kid A, 2001’s Amnesiac, 2003’s Hail To The Thief and In Rainbows, which was self-released via Radiohead.com in October 2007. In Rainbows was released to traditional retail by TBD Records/ATO in January 2008 and entered the U.S. chart at #1.

In Rainbows was self-released via Radiohead.com in October 2007, followed by a traditional retail release by TBD Records/ATO in January 2008. The album entered the U.S. chart at #1, and went on to be nominated for the Grammy for Best Album and won the Grammy for Best Alternative Album in 2009.
